LiLo includes miscarriage in court filing about lost lawsuit

If you are in the camp that doesn’t believe Lindsay Lohan had a miscarriage, she is including testimony that she indeed had been pregnant in a new court filing.

Speculation has been that Lohan made up the news to boost ratings for her reality show on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

TMZ reports that in new documents regarding a $5 million lawsuit over her 6126 clothing line, Lohan writes, “I have been overwhelmed since leaving rehab and dealing with my sobriety and a miscarriage.” The lawsuit originally was filed last year and Lohan was given time to respond to D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries due to LiLo being in rehab, but she failed to do so even after she was sprung, so she lost the case. Now, she might be using the miscarriage in an effort to undo the damage.

NBC updating lineup

NBC, which rebounded this season from a stubborn ratings slump, will try to build on its gains with a dozen new series that include dramas starring Debra Messing and Katherine Heigl and a pair of comedies produced by Will Ferrell.

In the 2014-15 schedule announced Sunday before its New York presentation to advertisers, NBC also said it will move its freshman series “The Blacklist” to Thursday starting in February.

Messing will star as a homicide detective and working mom in “The Mysteries of Laura” on Wednesdays this fall, while former “Grey’s Anatomy” star Heigl will return to the small screen as a CIA agent in “State of Affairs” on Mondays starting in November.

Seth Rogen and Zac Efron’s family-versus-fraternity comedy “Neighbors,” was the top draw for moviegoers this past weekend, unseating last week’s champ, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” “Neighbors” debuted with $51 million, pushing Spidey to second place with $37 million, according to studio estimates.

Hugh Jackman, 45, had another cancerous growth removed, appearing at the premiere of “X-Men: Days of Future Past” Saturday night with a bandage over his nose. He was treated for the same disease a year earlier.

Britney Spears’ Las Vegas show is such a hit that the pop star and Caesars Palace are extending the run two years until Christmas 2016, the New York Daily News reports.
