If Mayor Ed Lee decides to run for mayor in November, San Francisco voters could see some fireworks between him and state Sen. Leland Yee, who is leading the pack among eight other declared candidates.
Evidence of that can be seen by the “Promise” video from Yee’s consultant Jim Stearns that made the rounds this week.
But when asked about the video, Yee shrugged it off. As far as Lee running for mayor, he also didn’t fret about it.
“I’ve always said that if individuals want to run, they should run,” he said.
