The New York club that tried to sue Drake and Chris Brown for getting into an altercation has had its case tossed out of court.
Entertainment Enterprises attempted to sue America’s sweethearts for $16 million, according to TMZ, accusing them of ruining its reputation as an outfit that doesn’t condone bottle-throwing, Rihanna-banging, trash-talking superstars. The original fight didn’t even take place at the company’s club though -- it happened next door at the W.i.P. nightclub.
Nevertheless, the company claims the melee cost it a lot of money. A judge disagreed with that argument, essentially pointing out that if clubs could sue patrons every time a fight broke out the courts would be jammed.
