Lady turns boys into bandits, gets 8 years

A San Francisco woman who took two teen boys on a burglary spree in the Bay Area last year was sentenced Wednesday to eight years in prison, prosecutors said.

Nyzeina Eberhart, 27, and her two accomplices, ages 15 and 16, were busted after a resident in Belmont spotted the trio in a rented Kia casing homes Sept. 20, 2012. The neighbor called police and the trio was detained.

The vehicle was linked to burglaries in San Mateo, Millbrae and Pleasant Hill.

A judge denied Eberhart’s request for probation and ordered her to pay one of the victimized families $24,275 and another $754. Restitution for other victims has yet to be determined.

It’s unknown what, if any, punishment the teenagers might face.
