While police investigate a recent bout of shotgun-related robberies, San Francisco remains as stabby as ever, with two slashings reported yesterday in The City, police report.

The first stabbing occurred at Fillmore Street and Golden Gate Avenue about 4:45 p.m.; a28-year-old female victim was walking down the street when she reportedly got into an argument with a 34-year-old woman, police said. The argument blew up and the victim was stabbed in the leg -- twice. Her injuries were minor and she refused medical treatment. The accused stabber was arrested.

The second stabbing happened in the 300 block of San Bruno, police said. In that case, a 23-year-old man was picked up on Ocean Avenue by three other men in their mid-20s with the intention to buy “a controlled substance,” police said. The suspects drove the victim around for a bit before one of them decided to stab him for unknown reasons.

The victim was dropped off on San Bruno Avenue and the suspects fled in a 4-door, light-colored sedan. There have been no arrests.

The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries, which were not life threatening.
