Kevin Hayes, 32, of Hayward, has been identified as the fan who fatally fell from an elevated pedestrian walkway at Candlestick Park during the 49ers-Green Bay Packers game Sunday afternoon.

Multiple people witnessed Hayes fall onto a sidewalk from the Jamestown Walkway, which goes around Candlestick, according to police. Hayes was reportedly walking with his brother at the time.

Witnesses told police Hayes appeared intoxicated when he fell just after kickoff about 1:30 p.m. in the 49ers' 34-28 win over the Packers.
