It ain’t over between Kevin Federline and Britney Spears, according to Federline’s posse.
Several gossip magazines have reported that Spears has been visiting divorce attorneys. But, K-Fed’s buddies are coming to their friend’s defense, saying the dancer-turned-wannabe rapper and the "singer" are still a couple and working on their troubled marriage, which has managed to last 18 whole months.
"Everything you read in the tabloids about their relationship is fabricated," a friend of Federline’s told TMZ.com. "They’re still together."
Meanwhile, in an upcoming magazine interview Federline says he just can’t win when it comes to the media. "If I stay home and take care of my wife and my kids, then I am a loafer, not a good father," Federline told Item magazine. "If I try to have a career, nobody thinks I am caring for my family. I should just put a bull’s-eye on my back."
But wait, the interview gets better. Federline also stresses how important it is for his children (he has one child and another on the way with Spears, and two children with actress Shar Jackson) to have a work ethic!
"My kids are going to have to learn what a real job is, what life is," Federline told Item magazine. "You don’t have it easy with me. Period. My kids are going to work at Taco Bell, dammit!"
We can’t wait until Federline’s kids get old enough to call him a hypocrite.
The nerve of some people, right? Looney actress Anne Heche, who dumped Ellen DeGeneres in 2000, asked to go on DeGeneres’ successful daytime chatfest to promote her upcoming fall show "Men in Trees."
"Ellen firmly said no," an insider told Star magazine.
Apparently, Heche worked up the gall to ask for such a thing after Heche and her husband, Coley Laffoon, bumped into DeGeneres and her girlfriend, Portia De Rossi, at the GQ Celebrity Poker for Peace Games.
"Ellen’s face was bright red. The group talked, catching up and chatting and sort of seeing where each other was at in their lives," a spy told Sky News. "After that, they went their separate ways and
didn’t have much to do with each other. They were concentrating more on their poker games."
Brittany Murphy doesn’t care if you think she’s too skinny. The "Sin City" star says she’s thin and she can’t help it.
"I used to feel embarrassed about being too tiny," Murphy told Life Style Extra. "I even had a publicist who used to tell me to cover up my arms in photos to stop people picking on me. She meant well, but it made me really self-conscious. Then I came to terms with it. This is my body. I’m proud of it."
The 27-year-old actress claims that she’s even tried to put on weight so the gossip magazines will stop publishing stories about her having an eating disorder.
"I’ve stopped trying to eat 12 eggs for breakfast," she said. "I’m healthy which is the most important thing." Raise your hand if you feel sorry for beautiful, thin, rich Brittany Murphy.
Prepare yourself for some angry break-up music from Alanis Morissette in the grand tradition of "You Oughta Know," because the singer and her fiancé, actor Ryan Reynolds, have broken up after four years together, according to People magazine.
The couple, who met at Drew Barrymore’s birthday party in 2002, is already dating other people. According to Us Weekly, Reynolds has been exchanging flirty e-mails with a female pal and Morissette has moved on to (now, isn’t this ironic?) a relationship firstname.lastname@example.org
