  • Journey's Neal Schon has plenty to smile about after a judge ruled not to increase his child support and told his ex-wife to get a job.

Journey guitarist Neal Schon got a nice early birthday present when a judge told his ex-wife to “get a job,” according to TMZ.

Amber Schon wanted Neal to increase his $3,000-a-month child support payment to $5,758.90, but the court disagreed and said her request was “primarily to upgrade her own standard of living.” Oooh, snap!

The judge also suggested that she complete her degree in teaching so that she could start earning her own money. Snap, snap!

“My concern is my children,” the guitarist told TMZ. “I’m infuriated they are being exploited and used to extort money from me.”
