Into the wild at Seventh and Market

The predator snuck up on his prey from behind.

A black man in his 30s crept up behind a 21-year-old woman working at a restaurant at Seventh and Market streets who had her back to the counter Saturday night, police said.

The ruffian grabbed her from behind and shouted “Don’t say anything to anyone,” police said. He then instructed her to open the register.

The victim complied and the sneaky stalker grabbed the money and fled, police said.

The incident was reported to police at 6:37 p.m.
