Who: Jesusa Ursonal Tadad, 40
What: The Daly City woman pleaded not guilty Thursday to murder charges stemming from an incident in which she allegedly poured a boiling pot of water over her ex-husband Nov. 26 while he was asleep.
How: Tadad reportedly believed her ex was cheating on her – she had been living with him again at the time. After he came home from working the graveyard shift, prosecutors said Tadad waited until her ex-hubby was asleep before dousing him with boiling water. He ran to the bathroom, but when he came out Tadad was allegedly waiting with a baseball bat. She struck him in the head, prosecutors said. He died one week after the attack.
What’s next: Tada is scheduled to appear in court again March 21 to set a preliminary hearing.
