In court: Hillsborough homicide case slow moving

Who: Bradley Kleiman, 31, of Hillsborough

What: Kleiman is itching to get his trial started, prosecutors say, but that could take up to a month in the slow-moving homicide case. The son of a San Mateo civil attorney is accused of shooting to death his pal Christopher Calvache, 30, last year during an argument in Kleiman’s parents’ pool house. The shooting was the first slaying since 2004 in the quiet, upscale Peninsula town. Both sides are ready for the jury trial, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said Monday.
