It was a holdup in more ways than one.
An impatient thug threatened to shoot a store clerk in Lower Pacific Heights on Wednesday because she was not giving him the cash fast enough, police said.
The suspect, described as a 45-year-old man, reportedly entered a store in the 1900 block of Fillmore Street at about 4:50 p.m. and demanded money from the register.
The female clerk “wasn’t working fast enough” for the suspect, police said, so he “put a hard object to her back and told her he would shoot if she did not hurry up.”
He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There have been no arrests, police said Thursday morning.
Luckily, the clerk and another woman in the store were not injured, police said. The reportedly victims never saw a gun.
