I’m retiring and becoming a lobbyist

It is with great sadness and great gratefulness that I announce that this will be my last term in the world’s greatest 100-member deliberative body that is located in D.C.

Or at least, Yahoo News reports that I’m leaving the Senate:

Specter’s loss was one of many electoral blows against moderate incumbents. A National Journal blogger lamented the loss of senators such as Robert Bennett, Timothy Carney, Byron Dorgan, George Voinovich, Judd Gregg and Evan Bayh, senators “who have displayed a willingness to work across the aisle.”

I’ve already got my resume in at the Gephardt Group, Alston Bird, Patton Boggs, and PhRMA. Anyone know a good realtor in Potomac or McLean?
