Many are wondering how “Glee” will handle the death of its central character, Cory Monteith, who was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Saturday.

His character, Finn, was set to become the glee club coach and his romantic relationship with Lea Michele’s character, Rachel, was a dominant theme of the series.

“He leaves a major hole in the heart of the show that will be challenging for writers and producers to address,” entertainment expert Scott Huver told Fox News.

Will they tackle the death head-on? The light-hearted nature of the show doesn’t particularly lend itself to a sudden-death plot device. We shall see.

Shooting was set to begin at the end of this month, so a decision will have to be made ASAP.
