Hand-to-knife combat ends badly on Muni bus

An argument on Muni cut to the quick Monday, police said. Following an altercation about 3:20 p.m., a 54-year-old man’s hand was sliced by a knife-wielding man in his 40s near Haight Street and Central Avenue.

Both men exited the bus and the suspect fled. The victim was treated for his injury, which was not considered life-threatening.
