A drive-through patron at a fast-food restaurant in the Bayview district was hungry for another kind of green early Monday.

About 1:30 a.m., police said, a man walked up to the drive-through window of an eatery in the 300 block of Bayshore Boulevard and swiped money from the register.

After a brief struggle with an employee, the suspect eventually fled in a silver sedan with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The employee was not injured and no arrest has been reported, police said.
