‘Real Housewives of New Jersey” couple Joe and Teresa Giudice, the Boris and Natasha of Guidoville, maintained their innocence of 39 counts of fraud during an interview with “Watch What Happens Live” on Bravo. This is no big shocker.

What is ridiculous is why they say they face up to 50 years for something they didn’t do: They are celebrities and have been unfairly targeted.

The Huffington Post points out that the pair told People that they had never, ever lived beyond their means — a real head-scratcher given their excessive decadence on the show and their filing for bankruptcy.

If they do go to prison, they say there ain’t no way in hell their four daughters will go live with S. and Melissa Gorga, their arch-nemeses (“Moose and squirrel!”). Scoop’s prediction? Joe does time and Teresa gets probation.
