Giants star Tim Lincecum will be traveling a lot on Caltrain in the next month.
Starting this week, a giant-size image of the two-time National League Cy Young Award winner will appear on the side of the Caltrain gallery car, throwing a pitch using his signature delivery.
Caltrain spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew said the ads will appear on the normal silver trains, known as gallery cars.
For weekday games, fans have a choice of seven regularly scheduled trains that arrive across from AT&T Park before first pitch, Caltrain officials said. After the games, two trains will depart The City — one 15 minutes after the last out and the second 25 minutes after the final out.
