Giants fans lining up in East Palo Alto to see World Series Trophy 

San Francisco Giants fans were already lining up in East Palo Alto on Tuesday morning to check out the 2010 World Series trophy, which will be on display in that city and in Palo Alto on Tuesday afternoon.

The championship trophy is making the two Peninsula stops as part of a nationwide tour that will put the prize on display for Giants fans in California, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and New York.

The East Palo Alto public viewing is scheduled to take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Youth Government Center at the East Palo Alto YMCA, located at 550 Bell St.

The trophy will then head to Palo Alto for a public viewing at Lytton Plaza, located at University Avenue and Emerson Street, starting at 4 p.m.

Fans will get a chance to have an official photograph taken with the trophy and will be accommodated on a first-come first-served basis.
