Four residences were burglarized in San Bruno within six hours of each other on Tuesday, according to San Bruno police Sgt. Dermot Downes.
The first incident was reported at 3 p.m. in the 1400 block of Crestwood Drive, Downes said. Just four minutes later, police received a report of a burglary in the 2500 block of Evergreen Drive.
Twenty minutes later, a home in the 500 block of Madison Avenue was reportedly burglarized, and then about six hours later another report of burglary in the 100 block of Madison Avenue was reported, Downes said.
In all four burglaries, officers determined that the suspects gained entry by the back door and that all the residences had been ransacked. The residents all reported numerous items missing from their homes, Downes said, including laptops, jewelry, and in one case, a firearm.
