Fire department kicks of clothing drive for Haiti quake victims

San Francisco firefighters have kicked off a major children’s clothing drive to help victims of the Haiti earthquake. Victor Makras, Fire
Commission president, helped get the ball rolling.

The Fire Department and its union, Local 798, will make toy collection barrels available at all 42 Fire Department locations in The City.

Residents can drop off clothing, personal-care items and other donations.
