Two cameras with a combined value of $182,000 were stolen from a closet in the media room at America’s Cup, police said.

The theft was reported at Pier 27 about 3:30 p.m. The victim of the theft told police that nearly 400 media personnel have access to the media room that lacks video surveillance.

No arrests have been made.

The cameras were being rented from a UK-based company, a Central Station officer said.

A request for a response from America’s Cup officials was not returned before presstime.
