The beautiful and inevitably tragic romance between Taylor Swift and One Direction’s Harry Styles has more strikes against it than just the fact that Swift doesn’t linger long when it comes to love.
Hailie Mathers, the 16-year-old daughter of Eminem, took to Twitter and accused Swift of “whoring around” with the man she loves (but probably has never met), adding insult to injury with, “I, am never, ever, everrrrr, listening to your music againnnn @taylorswift13. LIKE EVER.”
Not to rub it in, Hailie, but Swift and Styles have spent a few nights together in a New York hotel, according to Celebuzz. That means they’ve probably kissed. And those lips of his may never touch yours.
Perhaps all of this sunk in, because soon afterward, Mathers apologized on Twitter for her “immaturity.” The whole thing is really rather cute.
What could Lindsay Lohan have in common with Al Capone — you know, besides an association with hooch? LiLo’s vast criminal empire could be brought down by the taxman, not the lawman.
Despite being charged on both coasts last week, she has yet to serve jail time. But according to Fox’s Pop Tarts column, when the IRS seized her bank accounts this week in an attempt to recover a $200,000 debt, they didn’t find much money therein, and are now setting their sights on all the cash payments Lohan receives for personal appearances at clubs and parties.
Such money is supposed to be declared as income; if officials find that she hasn’t done so, she’s busted. Sadly, unlike Capone, she can’t be sent to Alcatraz.
As rapper Psy’s “Gangnam Style” clip nears 1 billion views on YouTube, one can’t help but wonder how much money the dude has made.
In what the Huffington Post calls a great example of the “new shift” in the music biz, Psy’s earnings have primarily come from YouTube ads and iTunes downloads, $7.9 million so far. He also earns money from any parodies of his song and TV commercial appearances. Here’s the irony: In his native South Korea, he’s only made $60,000 in online sales.
