The former child actress, 39, and her art-director husband, 36, spilled the beans about the birth on Tuesday, issuing a statement to People magazine: “Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman. Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!”
After keeping much of her pregnancy with their firstborn, now 19 months, under wraps, Barrymore took a different approach following her November announcement that she was expecting a second child.
“Last time I never commented on it and people just stalked me the entire time. So yes, it’s happening, it’s true. I tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible.”
