Documentary targets Iran's nuclear program

Several Congressional lawmakers, activists, political pundits and invited guests attended a special screening of the documentary film  Iranium today on Capital Hill. The film chronicles the Tehran regime's quest to obtain nuclear weapons capabilities.

The film has drawn harsh criticism from  Iran's Foreign Ministry. A spokesman denounced it as an attempt to harm the progress of Iran's nuclear program.

The film's director,  Alex Traiman, said his goal was to educate America and the world regarding Iran's real intentions for nuclear proliferation.

"It could have been 12 hours long," he said of the one hour documentary. "I had to do a lot of cutting and that was the most difficult part."

In Canada, where the film first opened to a sold out audience,  Iranian officials attempted to stop it's release.
