Muni riders of the 14-Mission line frustrated over the practice of switchbacks can sound off on the practice during a Board of Supervisors City Operations and Neighborhood Services Committee hearing Monday at 4 p.m., at City Hall in Room 250.
A flier is circulating that says “Sick of switchbacks? Let SFMTA and city supervisors know how you feel!”
A switchback is when Muni has riders get off before the bus reaches the end of the line as a way to manage train delays and traffic jams. The hearing will discuss the transit agency’s policies for doing this and examine statistics related to the practice.
