A super-excited Daly City man is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame after making what Pat Sajak called the “most amazing solve” in his 30-plus years on “Wheel of Fortune.”
With only two letters, N and E, on the board, and the clue that the three-word phrase was a thing, Emil De Leon correctly guessed “new baby buggy” on Wednesday’s show.
De Leon, 25, a pediatrics student at NCP College of Nursing and longtime “Wheel” viewer, claims he had babies on the brain when the answer popped out of his mouth on his first try.
The prize winner, who earned $45,000 for the wild guess and a total of $63,099 on the show, told TMZ he would spend the money on school, but also spring for a trip to Mexico.
Not surprisingly, the mind-blowing video of the guess, after which Sajak gave De Leon a mock pat-down, has gone viral.
