Daily Outrage: Sensitive documents thrown out window during parade

WHO: New York City office workers

WHAT: During the parade celebrating the New York Yankees’ 27th World Series championship, city workers got carried away and tossed files and documents out of the window after they could not find any more confetti. An auditor who was at the parade said he found personal financial documents among the millions of pieces of shredded paper strewn across city streets.

WHY IT'S A BAD IDEA: Court documents, paycheck stubs and banking information are some of the most vital documents an individual has. They are supposed to be protected by the same workers who casually tossed them out the window.
