A man was critically injured in a stabbing in one of many knife-related crimes this past weekend.

9:15 p.m. Saturday
A 22-year-old man was critically injured in a stabbing, police said. The victim was standing at a bus stop with his girlfriend when the suspect, a male in his late teens, asked the victim if he was affiliated with a gang. The victim said no, but the suspect stabbed him in the torso and fled. The victim was in stable condition as of Monday.
200 block of Harriet Street
2:28 a.m. Sunday
A 22-year-old man was stabbed while he was trying to keep the peace, police said. The victim and a friend saw the suspect, a man in his 20s, arguing with someone else and intervened. A fight ensued and the victim was stabbed in the torso. His injury is reportedly not life-threatening.
500 block of Bryant Street
2:39 a.m. Sunday
A 23-year-old man was stabbed during a fight, police said. The victim got into a tussle with a man in his 20s and sustained several lacerations during the melee. He claimed to have not seen the knife.
1500 block of Thomas St.
4:45 p.m. Sunday
A 36-year-old woman was stabbed by a teen girl, police said. The two were arguing when things allegedly turned physical and the victim was cut several times. The teen suspect was arrested.
