Crooks slap cellphones out of victims’ hands in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood 

Thieves slapped cellphones from the hands of two women, scooped them up and fled in the South of Market area early Thursday, police said.

The robbery occurred at Folsom and Eighth streets around 1:30 a.m.

The suspects, described as two men in their early 20s, attacked the women, ages 42 and 25. They were not injured. There have been no arrests.
