Cow Palace gun show ban vetoed by governor 

A bill by state Senator Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) that would have prohibited gun shows at the state-owned Cow Palace was vetoed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who said the bill “would set a confusing precedent at the state level” by prohibiting one district of the state’s agricultural association from selling firearms and ammunition, while allowing other districts to continue to do so.
