This guy should really have kept his mouth shut, police said.
When a man who was outraged at cops began yelling at them in the area of Polk and Post streets Tuesday night, a crack cocaine rock “came flying out of his mouth,” police said.
The officers said they figured he had something illegal on him, given that when they approached him for shouting at another person on the street he had closed his fist as if to hide something in his hand, police said.
In that hand was a “baggie of marijuana,” they said.
“After he was in handcuffs, he still tried to fight with the officers and at one point began kicking at them,” police said.
He “also started to spit at them,” they said.
He was booked on several outstanding warrants and felony narcotics charges for the incident, which happened at 10:45 p.m., police said.
