Cops baffled by theft of $3,000 worth of electronics from parked car 

San Francisco cops are baffled by a robbery report in which the victim left more than $3,000 worth of electronics — including an Apple iPad — in a parked car overnight.

On Twitter Friday, Northern Station police Capt. Anne Mannix reported the car break-in at Filbert and Divisadero streets. The thief nabbed a $1,100 iPad, $2,000 laptop, $100 in cash and a credit card, she said.

“Someone actually left these items in their parked car overnight,” Mannix wrote on Twitter.

“Help me out here, don’t leave anything in your car, certainly not the #1 stolen item in America???” the perplexed police captain Tweeted.
