Suspects in Twin Peaks burglary from Contra Costa

Two burglary suspects from Contra Costa County were arrested early Monday morning after waking up a resident in West of Twin Peaks district.

Police found the two suspects at around 1 a.m. hiding, one under a tarp, in a storage area not far from where the male resident had been sleeping.

Nicolle Collett, 23, of El Sobrante and Jeffrey Shankar, 29, of Brentwood were arrested and booked on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and possessing burglary tools – all felonies.

The alleged crime occurred between Ocean Avenue and Darien Way.
