Three bus riders have been robbed in separate incidents since Friday, and police are still searching for the crooks.
The first robbery occurred Friday evening at a bus stop in the 600 block of Stanyan Street. A 27-year-old man was sitting down when a goon approached him and asked for the time, police said. As the victim was telling him the time, the man pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s phone and wallet before fleeing.
On Saturday night, police said, a man punched a 27-year-old woman in the face and snatched her cellphone on a bus that was coming to a stop near Eddy and Cyril Magnin streets.
Finally, a 21-year-old woman was riding a bus near Eighth and Market streets late Sunday when a man came up to her, ripped her cellphone out of her hands and fled, police said.
As of Monday, no arrests had been made in any of the incidents.
