  • A Bayview liquor store was robbed last Thursday. The insatiable suspect went back for more the next day but was cut off by police.

He went for the top-shelf liquor but was hampered by a lack of fresh threads.

A man was arrested last week for stealing expensive booze from a Bayview store after he went back the next day wearing the same clothes, police said.

Last Thursday, an employee at the store in the 1600 block of Tennessee Street told police that the suspect entered the store and stole several bottles of expensive liquor before fleeing. The suspect was caught on video surveillance, which was shown to police.

The bumbling boozehound reportedly returned the next day - wearing the same clothes - and was promptly arrested when police arrived. During his arrest, police found another bottle of pilfered potion in his pocket. He was booked on multiple counts of burglary at Bayview Station.
