Belmont vice mayor pleads not guilty

Belmont vice mayor Bill Dickenson pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he committed domestic violence and false imprisonment in Redwood City on July 11.

Dickenson is charged with pulling his ex-girlfriend to the ground and preventing her from leaving outside a pub.

San Mateo County court officials also recently extended a restraining order Dickenson and his alleged victim had taken out against each other.
