George Beamon scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Manhattan to a 72-53 rout over Siena on Saturday night.
Beamon, who went 10 of 19 from the floor, and Kidani Brutus were the only players to score in double figures for the Jaspers (12-7, 5-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), who have won three straight games. Brutus made four 3-pointers, scoring 14 points.
Manhattan's largest lead in the first half was seven points, taking a 28-27 lead into halftime. But the Jaspers surged in the second half, claiming a 19-point with 6:09 left on Liam McCabe-Moran's 3-poitner.
A couple of minutes later, Manhattan took a 69-45 lead — its largest of the game — on a 3-pointer by Donovan Kates to help the Jaspers cruise to the victory.
O.D. Anosike had a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds — seven offensive — for the Saints (8-9, 3-4).
