Parks and gardens

Outdoor theater: The San Francisco Mime Troupe presents "Oil &Water," its summer park production. Two one-act musicals about dangerous energy practices make up the show. [2 p.m., Yerba Buena Gardens, 770 Mission St., S.F.]

Park band: The Golden Gate Park Band presents its weekly concert. Today's program: "A Space Odyssey." [1 p.m., Music Concourse, Golden Gate Park, S.F.]

Bird walk: "Birding at the Garden," a docent-led bird-watching amble, takes place at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. About 40 species are spotted on this monthly walk. [8 a.m.; meet at front gate, 1199 Ninth Ave., Golden Gate Park, S.F.]

Music

Movies
