While SF Beautiful celebrated the legal ruling that put a hold on AT&T’s plan to install 4-foot-high  utility boxes around San Francisco, AT&T remained confident it will ultimately prevail in the case.

“Residents across the City, as well as the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, have voiced support for competition and choice when it comes to TV, high speed internet and digital phone service,” said Marc Blakeman AT&T Regional Vice President in a statement. “Despite [Monday’s] decision to issue a temporary stay, AT&T believes it ultimately will prevail in the litigation and it remains committed to bringing San Francisco a next generation IP network."
