Armed cash-grabbers help man with ATM subtraction

A man who withdrew cash from an ATM at 16th and Mission streets early Thursday was forced by gun-toting goons to withdraw even more, police said.

About 2:25 a.m., police said, the 43-year-old man was approached by two suspects, a man and a woman who appeared to be in their mid-20s and demanded cash at gunpoint.

After the victim handed over his cash, the woman ordered him to withdraw more. He was not injured and no arrests have been reported, according to police.
