America's Cup races canceled due to high winds

  • America's Cup spectators won't get to see a race today.
America's Cup racing has been canceled this afternoon due to gusty winds on San Francisco Bay, a race spokeswoman said.

Oracle Team USA will face off against challenger Emirates Team New Zealand for races 11 and 12 on Wednesday, America's Cup spokeswoman Eliza Murray said.

New Zealand leads the series 7 to 1 and could win the competition with by winning both races Wednesday, which are scheduled to start at 1:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
