Even the Indianapolis Colts weren’t this punishing.

A 40-year-old football fan who reportedly threatened to urinate in a vehicle in the Candlestick Park parking lot following the 49ers’ loss Sunday was badly beaten by one of the vehicle’s occupants, police said.

A 29-year-old suspect from Fresno was arrested in connection with the beating that left the man with a broken arm and nose, a concussion, and contusions and bruises.

The incident unfolded about 5:30 p.m. when the victim was reportedly drinking with a group of people in the parking lot. At one point, he hopped into someone else’s car. When he was asked to get out, he instead “opened the door, unzipped his pants and was about to urinate in the front compartment of the vehicle,” Officer Gordon Shyy said.

The 29-year-old punched the boy and then kicked him while he was on the ground, Shyy said.

The suspect was arrested after his vehicle was stopped several blocks away.

Correction: San Francisco police originally reported the age of the victim incorrectly. He is 40 years old.
