Actor Drew Seeley can sing

He’s not just a pretty face.

You might already be accustomed to seeing handsome young actor Drew Seeley on the squirrelly new TBS comedy series “Glory Daze.” And, in truth, he’s been around the cinematic block a few times, in “The Shortcut” and “Another Cinderella Story.” But there’s more to him than meets they eye. He doesn’t want to direct — he wants to sing.

Seeley’s songwriting skills have earned an Emmy nomination, via his work on the “High School Musical” soundtrack.

Now, with his co-writer/producer Justin Gray, he’s just put the finishing touches on “The Resolution,” his official debut disc of delectably soulful pop.

A preview EP, “The Resolution: Act 1,” is now available.

And since the man is no stranger to the live stage (he played arenas as part of the “High School Musical: The Concert” tour), as soon as “Glory Daze” filming concludes this season, he’ll be hitting the road for solo gigs.
