When you cheat ,You Cheat! Because of your past give you the edge! BAAD. and wrong. What Piiss Me of is that, you have all these kids doing it right and want to play the game right, working HARD to make the game better. "Shame on You!" Baseball is a "Great Game!" Shame on all that makes it different...
I'd expect TL to be gone after this season. He no longer is a $20M pitcher and the team has learned, hopefully, from the Zito fiasco. Unless he has a decent better than average season and is willing to take a substantial pay cut with a one or two year contract ... it's Adios Timmy.
Kruse was just doing a filler, thatzall. Going back to Zito, your're right, come July 1, assess where the guy is and extend him a couple of years if appropriate but he need to 'pay back' at only $5mil per.
Just lose, dirtbag!
What? No SI?? Where's Ari Gold??
I agree very much. People keep bringing up the idea that the Warriors are better off without Bogut, and its simple... they're not.
To me, his last game against the Suns, he showed me something. He was battling in the boards, 2 putback lay in (one was very crucial - Suns was making a run), he was rebounding, passing the ball well and blocking shots. Which is basically what we've been wanting from him. The good part about it is that, when fully healthy, he can still bring that game up another level. I feel, even though his consistency was still not there, his rhythm was coming back. It really sucks the timing of this injury. I just really felt that every game, the Warriors were getting much more in synced and having the feel for each other.
I cannot agree more in the favor of this upcoming home schedule. We know the fans will bring the energy and excite the team and they have about 2 months to figure everything out, which is more than enough. Well, I hope so aha.
Dylan Kruse would be wise to be patient and wait to see what Barry Zito delivers in 2013 before talking about extending him. Obviously, the team is looking to see what Barry brings this year. So, what what the point of this article, again? Was there a point to his article ...?
Hehe, man somebody got that wrong...
@Dylan...."it ain't over until the fat lady sings"....That , will be, Sunday......Go Ms B, do it ....yeah....
Thank you for that reading, Yup wrote cased commonly.
As a local resident of New Orleans, I was attracted to nola.com's headline "What Baltimore and San Francisco media are saying about New Orleans." It prompted me to explore a bit, and I came across your opinion(s). Yes, it is annoying to have everything in the city covered with the NFL logos with the mix of Mardi Gras in between. Surprisingly, I haven't seen or felt what you are feeling even by working downtown and living uptown. I would be having a blast if I was a football fan or a Mardi Gras paradegoer. I am no football fan nor a huge paradegoer. Sometimes I laugh-out-loud that millions are being spent in a seemly third world city. But I do ask you this, do not judge your first visit to "The Big Easy," or like most of us locals call it, "New Orleans," on Mardi Gras nor this football game. You will run into many drunkards and several annoyances that would have you write many unpleasant stories. You will also find that the city and people are generous, caring, and inviting. Not necessarily a "Southern" thing, but natural human behavior. I doubt you will have time to explore the hip neighborhoods in the Bywater and Marigny, or the Uptown streets hidden with locals' favorite restaurants and bars. Just like Fisherman's Wharf, you will find mostly tourist on Bourbon St. with many being intoxicated. So, soak in the history by strolling in the Quarter one early morning and be a part of "the city that care forgot." Oh, and I love San Francisco (not San Fran) even with that building shaped like a pyramid or "spaceship." I really enjoy that little bagel shop in the Transcontinental.
how is the atmosphere? Are you enjoying New Orleans
How long did it take you to discover your awesome analysis? Give it a rest! The Raiders will get better, unlike your articles.
Nice way to spend the day and entertaining piece. I wanna be a reporter.
While I am glad when they bring a tournament to Harding Park, it makes me sick to my stomach to see them bring a tournament to this place. What a bunch of pretentious yahoos with their ultra-exclusive club that virtually none of the SF residents ever get to see. That said, its probably good for the city's income so I will welcome it. However, with this tournament and the America's cup, we need to be careful that we don't turn into the city that loves the smell of their own fahts. (thanks S-Park).
