  • Rapper 2 Chainz admitted to an Atlanta radio station that he was in fact robbed in San Francisco this month.

2 Chainz decided to stop yanking everybody's chain.

The Atlanta-based rapper has finally admitted that he was indeed robbed in San Francisco on June 9.

Tauheed Epps, aka 2 Chainz, went on Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 and detailed the entire incident in an 18-minute interview.

Epps had initially denied on his Twitter account that he was robbed, but after TMZ released surveillance footage of the incident, he came clean.

During the interview, Epps said he "saw the gun first. It was like a .357. It was so heavy he couldn't really hold it. The gun was so big. That's what made me take off running."

The robbery took place in broad daylight in the 800 block of Howard Street about 4:30 p.m. near a medical marijuana dispensary. Three men reportedly approached Epps and his entourage and chased them down the street. One of them fired at the group, but no one was struck.

The TMZ video shows one of the crooks walk up to Epps and take something out of his back pocket, which according to police reports at the time was his wallet.

"I was like this is real," he told the radio station. "I had bullet fragments in my hair ... I think he thought he shot me."

As if the robbery wasn't bad enough, Epps was arrested two days later at LAX for marijuana possession. But, Epps said, he isn't going to let these incidents bring him down.

"I'm just excited about life. I'm so turned up you can't turn me down," Epps said.
