A 15-year-old boy was assaulted and robbed Tuesday in the Outer Mission, police said.

The victim was walking in the area of Alemany Boulevard and Niagara Avenue about 6:48 p.m. when two men in their 20s asked him the time.

The victim responded and one of the suspects asked him if he had a cellphone, police said, to which he said no, he didn't.

The second suspect then pushed the victim to the ground and went through his pockets. The suspect grabbed the victim's wallet and the two men fled. Soon after, police arrived and took the suspects into custody.
